Raising aspiration through extra-curricular activity

Event Date April 24, 2018 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Location – B112, Brecon Building, Treforest

A CELT lunchtime seminar

The CELT series of Student Experience Plan sessions to enable colleagues from all areas to share initiatives and to network around key project areas, continues.

‘Raising Aspirations’ focusses on employability as well as employment and what we are doing to create the conditions in which students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that in combination allow them to function effectively at work and that empower them to succeed over long careers.

Come along to discover what others are offering students to support this agenda. Bring along any of your own work and ideas, or just turn up and have a conversation to help you think about how you can develop employability initiatives to raise aspirations and add value through ‘transformational’ learning opportunities.
