Event Date June 6, 2019 9:30 a.m. – February 6, 2019
Location – Glyntaff campus, EM128
Colleagues who want to have a good think about whether PFHEA Recognition is something that they can apply for now or build a structured pathway towards in the future.
The workshop will facilitate individual and group discussion around UKPSF Descriptor 4 (Principal Fellow). Participants will begin translating the Descriptor into their own context and practice.
By the end of the session participants will have ownership of the PFHEA Descriptor and be able to develop a personal evidence map against each criterion. Participants will be encouraged to make contact with the TSL@USW team to discuss progress and determine a timeline towards their PFHEA claim-making.
Principal Fellow recognition is aimed at colleagues who are highly experienced with wide-ranging strategic leadership responsibilities in key aspects of teaching and supporting learning, and are able to evidence a sustained record of effective strategic leadership in academic practice and development. The workshop will explore what these requirements might look like in your practice and, through sharing with others, enable creative ‘noticings’ of all you do using the language of the UKPSF.
Do I need to bring anything?: A laptop or notebook for jotting ideas etc.
UKPSF Dimensions: All possible
CELT strand: Recognition
