Event Date June 24, 2019 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location – Newport campus, room D12
This highly interactive workshop is for anyone who is doing or planning to set up anything that is enhancing students’ learning / learning experience / staff /community experience etc. in anyway, and would like to know what these external recognition schemes look like, so that they can start collecting evidence / not miss a trick when starting up something new.
The workshop will introduce the schemes and, focusing on their similarities, help participants think how they might evidence a claim and /or set up /enhance their practice further to build the required evidence and external footprints.
By the end of the session participants should be able to articulate their Unique Selling Point / understand how to do this and its consequent impact on what ‘evidence’ and ‘footprint’ look like for their practice.
The highly interactive workshop will outline the core requirements of external recognition schemes and enable participants to critique their current / future activities against these. We will also explore internal and external opportunities for community- and footprint building.
Do I need to bring anything? A laptop or notebook for jotting ideas.
